***THE INFAMOUS "TRYING 2 WIN" HAS DECIDED NOT TO TRY AND WIN ANYMORE AND HAS LEFT THE BUILDING***
What started out as a simple statement made on my part that no one in here can consistently pick winners has ultimately resulted in the quick disappearance of our regular nuisance, TRYING 2 WIN. Seems as if he had everything in the world to shout back at me, except for anything that could convince me he wasn't like everybody else in here. I've listened to him preach of how good he was, how much money he's won, that he's playin' with the big boys, that he's UP every week, that everyone else in here are all KIDS and that we all need to follow him.
Well, he said all the wrong things. Couldn't prove nothing to me. I went so far as to issue him a challenge that he couldn't pick 60 out of 100 games correctly BUT, IF HE COULD, I'd pay him. But if he failed, he'd have to pay me. He 'tip-toed' around the challenge, only to come back in one post later and ask me, "if you know how to pick games, then why don't you post your plays for all of us to see?" Now folks, did I ever say anything in the past about being successful at picking games? NOT IN THE LEAST. That's why I came to this Forum in the first place.
So this guy starts harping on this shit for awhile, then starts bragging about all of the money he's just made on the Ohio State game. So, I go back and read his thread, where he says that Ohio St. is a REGULAR play for him AND he also was going to play the UNDER as a small wager.
So, as luck would have it, the side hits BUT the TOTAL goes down. All we hear now is how much money he just made, something like $2000. $2000 you say? From a REGULAR play? Now I smell BULLSHIT all over my computer screen. I call his bluff, he can't & (now I'm convinced) would never be able to show me a $2000 ticket for a play he made. Not only that, but let's all ask ourselves this question, "Does a guy betting $2000 on a REGULAR play have the need to be in this place, let alone have the inability to spell correctly?"
How about this: why wouldn't a $2000 REGULAR player not take me up on a challenge when, at most, he could lose $250? The answer, my friends, is because he is not what or who he claims to be. He's just a pretender, a basher, a $10 player, who, right now, is not sure of what hit him.
Yeah, he put up 3 plays today, none of which even had a chance (Colts & the OVER, a teaser with the Colts and GB) but he still had the mentality to come back up, into my post & rip me on my losing teaser.
But it's cool wit' me. I got out what I needed to say, from the start. I haven't wavered in my opinion at all, except to say Two_Headed_Monster and AC got big balls, taking me up on my challenge
& I applaud them. (I already know both of them will fail anyway, but I like 'em enough for their efforts).
Let's now all bow our heads for a moment and reflect on all that TRYING 2 WIN has left us, now that he is gone--okay that's long enough. We will not miss you, Mr. $45 winna. We will always remember those fun times spitting on you and falling backwards in our chairs laughing at you with your use of ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in your posts, but most of all you will definitely be forgotten.
ADIOS..ADIOS...ADIOS
Don't come back now, y'hear?
